We believe in the Bible as God’s inspired Word. It gives instructions and guidance on how to walk in this life’s journey.
( 2 Timothy 3: 16 – 17 ) We believe in the existence of an eternal God. There is One God, eternally existing and manifesting Himself to us
in Three Persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
He is the Creator and Source of all things, both in heaven and on earth.
( Colossians 1:15 – 17; Matthew 3:13 – 17; Matthew 28:19; 2Corinthians13:14; Genesis1:26; John 1:1 – 3 ) We believe that sin came to man. It defiled God’s purpose for humanity and that there is a need of a Saviour
in order to reconcile man to the Holy God.
( Romans 3:23 ) We believe that the only way to be reconciled to the Holy God is through repentance. It encompasses personal recognition of sin, belief in Jesus dying on the cross
for our sake and submission to His Lordship in our life.
( John 3:16; John 1:12; Luke 5:32; Luke 15:10 ) We believe in water baptism by immersion in Jesus Name. Water baptism was modeled and commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself,
to His followers after repentance. It is an essential act of obedience to every
follower of Jesus Christ.
( Matthew 3:16; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12 ) We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. To live an empowered life, the Holy Spirit must fill us. It is He who will give us the
authority to use and genuinely release these spiritual gifts accordingly to us. It is
for the strengthening of the church as we continue to serve Him and grow daily
in His grace.
( 1 Corinthians12:1 – 11; Acts 2:1 – 4 ) We believe in diversity and unity in the Body of Christ. We understand that it is our responsibility to connect to one another as a
community of believers, wherein we are planted to prosper and flourish,
as we work with one heart for one Lord.
( Hebrews 10:24 – 25; Acts2: 42 – 47 ) We believe that God moves through prayer and fasting. With humility of heart, private devotion and public prayer, we seek God
to move in a miraculous fashion.
( Ezra 8:23 ) We believe that giving tithes and offerings is God’s design. It is for the purpose of supporting the local ministry and reaching the world
around us with His Word.
( 2 Corinthians 9:7; Malachi 3:8 – 10 ) We believe that Jesus Christ will come again. To those who consciously and continuously reject Him, awaits eternal
punishment. But to those who faithfully obey and honour Him, awaits
great reward.
( Matthew 24:42 – 44; Matthew 5:12 ) |
